• The Fortress Museum. The Bard Fortress is a place oozing history and is a museum in itself with guided tours inside and out of the fortress. The museum supplies detailed information on the history of the fortress, a military outpost with military architecture: a defence system and fortification on the Alps over the past centuries. • The Border Museum, divided into three parts, illustrating the social, economic and political effects of the evolution of Alpine borders. In the initial phase the Alps are merely a natural obstacle; then comes a period in which they become a barrier, with the construction of fortresses, at the time of the establishment of nation states. Finally, following World War 2 they represent an opening, with the construction of the tunnels. (Opening soon)
• Youngsters and the Alps, is a museum for younger visitors. Children and teenagers together with their teachers may make a virtual ascent of Mount Blanc or play with and learn about mythology. (Opening soon))
